Trip to Jasna Góra: why is it worth coming here?
Jasna Góra is a sanctuary located in Częstochowa, which houses a Pauline monastery. The beginnings of the monastery date back to the 14th century. Today, Jasna Góra is considered one of the holiest places for Christians from all over the world.

- The painting of Our Lady of Częstochowa: The icon by an unknown Italian painter depicting the Madonna and Child holds special significance for every Christian arriving at the monastery. You can also get to Częstochowa by train, but then we are limited by the train timetable — we do not have much time flexibility. Especially since a trip to Jasna Góra can be combined with visiting the quarries on Złota Góra, which are easier to reach by car.

It is worth setting aside a whole day for a trip to Jasna Góra. Even if it turns out that we have managed to see everything and have some time left, we can easily check out other interesting corners of Częstochowa, such as the aforementioned quarries on Złota Góra, or take a stroll through the city streets, stopping at one of the local cafés.
